Pool Tournaments and League Info!

Pool shooters are welcome at the Hiphugger! We have a nice pool table, and at .50¢ a game, it's a real bargain. We have a weekly 9-Ball tournament and are active in the Silicon Valley Bar Pool League.

Weekly Amateur 9-Ball Tournament
Cash prizes plus an accumulating "break-pot" ($200 max)!

We host our own weekly 9-Ball Tournament every Sunday evening. A $6 entry will get you in the tournament, plus you can enjoy half-price draft beers throughout the game! Women are also encouraged to play, and there is a special "Last Woman Standing" prize. The tournament usually starts around 8:00 pm.

Although there is prize money involved, this is an amateur tournament and is mainly just for fun. If you have never played 9-Ball, it easy to learn, and the fact that you don't even need to call your shot (slop counts!) really evens up the playing field. Even if you don't win there is a "Break Pot" that accumulates every week (up to $200). If you knock in the 9-ball on the break, the cash is yours!
